Phil J. Ra DDS, FAGD, FICOI
Dr. Phil J. Ra was raised in Southern California and currently takes pride in residing and practicing dentistry in Upland and the surrounding areas. His childhood goal of becoming a dentist became a reality when he was accepted into the prestigious six-year Accelerated Dental Acceptance Program Tract (ADAPT) at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry right out of high school in 1994. Dr. Ra is proud of this accomplishment, as only a select group of students in the nation are accepted into this academically rigorous and clinically grueling accelerated program.
After becoming one of the youngest doctors to graduate with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in the history of USC in 2000, Dr. Ra spent several years (and still spends many hours) attaining up-to-date continuing dental education and training to better serve the Inland Empire for over 15 years. His unwavering commitment to staying on top of dentistry’s latest techniques and research has earned him the highly prestigious Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. This means he has the skills gained from more post-doctorate education in 3 years than the State of California requires dentists to take in 20 years of practice.
Alan Yam, DMD
Dr. Alan Yam was raised in Southern California and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the prestigious Western University of Health Sciences in 2016. He went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Fort Benning, Georgia, through the U.S. Military.
From 2020 to 2025, Dr. Yam proudly served as a U.S. Army dentist, providing comprehensive dental care to active-duty service members in both clinical and deployment settings. His time in the military allowed him to manage a wide range of complex cases—from restorative and preventive care to treating jaw pain, clenching, and sleep-related breathing disorders—where precise, effective treatment was essential.
Dr. Yam is certified in the management of sleep apnea and temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and is also a Botox specialist, integrating advanced therapeutic and aesthetic techniques to enhance patient comfort and function.
Today, he brings his military-honed skill and compassion to civilian practice, offering comprehensive dentistry that combines modern technology, evidence-based care, and personalized attention. Whether helping patients achieve better sleep, improved function, or a healthier smile, Dr. Yam is dedicated to improving overall well-being.
Dr. Garrett Dacker, DDS, MDS Orthodontist
Meet Dr. Garrett. He is an orthodontic specialist and a SoCal native from Glendora. He graduated from the prestigious NYU College of Dentistry at the top of his class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Dr. Garrett then attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he received his Masters in Dental Science and Certificate in Orthodontics. He’s ecstatic to be back home in sunny SoCal creating beautiful smiles for his home community.
His passion is to help you achieve your best smile. Every patient’s treatment is a unique puzzle but the end goal is always a smile filled with self-confidence. Dr. Garrett and his team can’t wait to meet you and work hard for you on your journey to straight teeth.

Berry Phan, DMD
Dr. Berry Phan is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She grew up in Massachusetts where she attended Mount Holyoke College, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. After completing her Doctor in Dental Medicine Degree at Tufts University, Dr. Berry relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and practiced children’s dentistry in underserved communities for 5 years. She then continued her advanced, specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry for an additional 2 years at the prestigious Loma Linda University in California.
Dr. Berry is an active member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (COD-ABPD), American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), California Dental Association (CDA), and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD).
Dr. Berry loves working with children and educating parents about the importance of oral health care. As a mother, she understands how important it is for parents to know that their child is in caring and competent hands. Her cheerful and kind- hearted personality helps her patients feel at ease, making their first dental experiences fun and pleasant.
In her free time, Dr. Berry enjoys spending time with her two children. She loves hot yoga, tennis, and snowboarding. Dr. Berry also enjoys photography and going on dental mission trips to different parts of the world to provide dental care for underprivileged children.
Dr. Babak Aminpour, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Aminpour has been performing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 1997. He is highly qualified to perform several major and minor Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery procedures.
Yookyeom (Robert) Huh, DMD
Dr. Yookyeom (Robert) Huh isn’t just an endodontist; he's a master of his craft, dedicated to the art and science of saving teeth. After earning his dental degree from Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, OH, he deepened his expertise with a Master’s degree in Dental Science and an Endodontic specialty certificate from the same institution.
Endodontics captivated Dr. Huh from the start with its intricate procedures and the profound impact it can have on relieving patient pain. His approach blends precision with empathy, ensuring that each patient feels cared for and reassured throughout their treatment. As a Board-Certified Endodontist by the American Board of Endodontics, he’s committed to the highest standards of clinical excellence and a patient-first philosophy.
Dr. Huh stays actively engaged in the dental field, contributing to and learning from professional organizations such as the American Board of Endodontics, American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society. His involvement reflects his commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Huh enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his family, experimenting with new recipes, and hitting the golf course, finding balance and inspiration in these passions.
